A lovingly hand painted Madhubani saree by one of our women artist. Stunningly clean workmanship, this saree will be the cynosure of all eyes.

Madhubani is the folk art of (Mithila) Bihar and depicts various themes based on the life of goddess Sita & Lord Ram. It also popularly uses a lot animal motifs and themes.

This saree is based on the elephant and peacock theme.

Material – Cotton – Kerala cotton saree with gold zari

Paints – Acrylic

Pallu – 1.25 meters of painting/ Border work with elephants

Dimension – 6.250 metres (includes blouse pc as running meter)

Please note: Handpainted sarees are completely painted by hand by an artist. It is hence natural to have some paints stains here and there (minor ones) and some pencil markings. This corroborates the authenticity of the saree and in ways adds to its appeal. We support artists and artisans who make these and request you to keep this in mind.

Product care: Hand painted sarees are to be cold water hand washed only. No soaking. Dry in the shade.

Shipping Policy

All orders will be dispatched within 3-5 business days from the date of receipt of payment. All orders will be sent via standard reputed shippers.

Advaita Handicrafts cannot accept responsibility for items which may be delayed in transit due to postal service irregularities & this cannot be a reason for return/ refund.

Customer is responsible for entering the correct full postal address with pin code and email address during the ordering process. Once Products have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and Advaita Handicrafts will not be liable for their loss or damage.

Refund Policy

Please note that since we deal in handcrafted handicrafts and not machine manufactured, no 2 pieces of articles will be or can be identical. Further, since these are handcrafted, there may be slight imperfections of the product. We urge you to understand and appreciate that these are not defects but inherent to the process of product creation as such & contribute to the uniqueness of the products.

Actual colours may slightly vary compared to as visible on the website.

Refund Policy

To qualify for a refund the good must be unopened or in unused condition. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Once your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

If you find any of your goods are damaged or the wrong product was provided to you as a result of our error, please notify us within 24 hours of product delivery.

You will need to return unopened and/or unused items to us and according to your instructions we will either exchange them or reimburse the cost of the items including the delivery charge. When returning items we recommend you obtain a certificate of posting, as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please pack items suitably to prevent damage in transit. Please retain your proof of postage when returning products.

Advaita Handicrafts is NOT responsible for the shipping costs for any returns. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Thus, return shipping is to be paid for and arranged by you, unless it is agreed that the product is faulty, damaged or sold not as described. Further, shipping costs are non-refundable.

Where an order has qualified for free shipping, should you wish to return the item; the actual initial postage cost will be deducted from your refund. If shipping has been paid for by the buyer, the cost will not be refunded. No refunds will be issued If the returning items are received back damaged to us (other than postal damage).

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Request for cancellation of order has to be placed within 24 hours of ordering.

We really want you to be happy with your purchase, but for any reason if you are not satisfied with your purchases (for reasons of damage/ defect / incorrect product being shipped erroneously) simply inform us within 24-48 hours for an exchange or a full refund (minus the delivery charge). In order to receive a refund or exchange the product must be returned unused, in original selling condition and in its original packaging with any tags and the original invoice.

In the interests of hygiene we do not accept the returns of, or refunds on, pierced earrings or jewellery sets containing earrings unless the item are of unsatisfactory quality.

Sale items (if applicable) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
